Continental's 43-acre (17.4-ha) facility in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas, is our worldwide corporate headquarters. As such, it provides administrative support to other locations. New operations are developed and implemented here first, then applied across the company. We are a full line metal service center that provides value added service such as sawing, drilling, boring and honing for our oil and gas related customers.
Calgary, Canada - Canada Head Office
Continental's Peterhead, Scotland, facility has been in operation since 1994. With 24,000 square feet of warehouse space plus a 4,000-sq.-ft. office on three acres (1.2 ha) of land, Peterhead offers full manufacturing capabilities and value-added services including sawing, drilling, honing, turning, milling and precision threading.
Continental Alloys & Services has been serving the global oil and gas industry from the UK since 1994. Our newly built distribution facility in Brechin, Scotland consists of 15,000 square feet of warehouse and workshop space, 1,500 square feet of office space, and 2 acres of external yard storage allowing us to offer our customers more steel grades and enhanced value added services including saw cutting, deep hole boring, and precision honing.
Our Singapore operations began in 2007 through acquisition of an existing company, and Continental's brand-new 46,000-square-foot-plus building opened in late 2012. The Singapore facility offers a full range of premium steel and alloys, including mechanical tube, bar and OCTG — along with full manufacturing capabilities, and value-added services including sawing, drilling, boring, honing, threading, turning and milling.
Continental Alloys & Services moved into the Malaysian market in 2008, opening offices and a 24,000-square-foot warehouse in Johor. Along with a range of materials and products, the Malaysian plant offers full manufacturing capabilities, and services including sawing, drilling, boring, honing, threading, turning and milling.
Opening in 2009, Continental's Dubai operations were expanded in 2010 to provide a broad range of steel alloy products to the oilfields of the Middle East. Mechanical tube, bar, OCTG and value-added services are in high demand from the Dubai facility, which serves both the drilling and down-hole completion segments of the industry.
Continental's Lafayette facility is physically situated in the adjoining community of Broussard, Louisiana. This location is focused on the repair of Gulf of Mexico oil-well equipment. Value-added services offered at Lafayette include sawing and drilling.
